Lynchburg Newborn Portraits with Connor

A couple of months ago this sweet boy came in for his Lynchburg Newborn Portraits with his parents and siblings. I love hosting families in my boutique studio space for newborn and family photo sessions. Newborn sessions can often last on average up to two hours. It’s always best to photograph newborns when they are sleepy and easy to pose and that can take time. To help make my families comfortable during this time, I like to provide a sitting space and some beverages for siblings and parents to enjoy while they wait during their little one’s session. As part of my studio experience, I provide a nice selection of wraps, backdrops and accessories, and will consult with the parents on colors and preferences beforehand.

During newborn sessions, I always like to include a few family portraits with the newest addition. I will take full family, newborn with dad and mom, newborn with just mom, and newborn with just dad. It’s also fun to get sibling portraits done during this time as well. Here’s a little peek from Connor’s Lynchburg newborn portraits session where he was just 9 days old.
