“The Big One” – Lynchburg Cake Smash Session
Easton will turns 1 this month so a few weeks back I designed a Lynchburg Cake Smash session around “The Big ONE” theme that his mother requested. It is always so much fun putting these scenes together. I decided to incorporate a boating/fishing aspect in the background, and even designed a little fishing pole with a stick from my yard, and some twine I had around the house. As always with First Birthday sessions, I took a few portraits to start to document his growth. Then we moved into the Cake Smash set up, and ended with a Splash! portion in the tub. Easton was a huge fan of the cake! But he didn’t care too much for the tub. However, I still got a few super cute images of him taking a “bath.”
Lynchburg Cake Smash Sessions are held in my studio, and include all props, backdrop, balloons centered around a chosen theme. I always get the parents’ opinions on theme, and we go from there! If you’d like to learn more about the First Birthday shoots, just click here for more details.
