So, many of you know I have a son. His name is Reagan and he’s 9. Well, in one week he’ll be 10! Wow. Time flies. Earlier this week, I dropped my baby off at camp. It’s his first overnight camp, and this Mommy is filled with so many emotions. Sad, cause he’s not a baby anymore. Excited, because he gets to experience his very first camp (I loved camp as a kid!). Nervous, because I just want him to have a good time and everything to go perfectly at camp. Proud. Happy. Afraid. And the list goes on and on. Tomorrow evening I get to pick him up and I can’t wait to hear all about his experiences at camp. Will he have made friends? Did he enjoy swimming in the lake? Did he learn anything new? Was he able to fall asleep okay in the same room with 9 other boys? Was he kind to everyone he met? Were they kind to him? I’m hoping the answer is YES! to all of these questions 🙂 Here are a few pictures I took as I dropped him off at camp Sunday afternoon. Unfortunately, I forgot to get any of me with him (as usual!), but that just means I’ll have to try and remember to hand over the camera to my husband so I can pose with Reagan him when we pick him up. Did you send a child off to summer camp this year? Do you remember camp as a child? Feel free to share your experiences with me in the comments below.
