When the bride and groom have spent much of their time in Africa as missionaries, it’s only appropriate to have an African-themed rehearsal dinner. The couple paired a few important traditions in the event the night before their wedding. In addition to having an African theme, complete with items brought back with them from their time on the continent, they also incorporated a “Make Your Own Pizza” dinner – an activity they participated in weekly with their missionary teams while out of the country. Also, on hand was a S’Mores table and fire pit which was a great hit with guests. And the Old Orchard Creek was a beautiful backdrop for their evening. Set in the mountains, the orchard’s beauty consisted of a small creek, fruit trees, flowering bushes and a gravel road leading to a few quaint cottages.
