A little less than a month ago, Wes and Jessy became Mr. and Mrs. in a beautiful outdoor ceremony at The Market at Grelen in Somerset, Va. There were so many elements of this wedding that I just adored! Jessy’s bouquet was gorgeous, and the little details like the fellas’ ties and the ladies’ array of red and pink bridesmaid dresses, made the day unique to the bride and groom. Under the reception tent, Grelen Market was able to bring the outside in with potted trees scattered throughout the space. I am so excited to be able to share a few of my favorite images from Jessy and Wes’ wedding day.
The wedding party got ready at the Hyatt Place in Charlottesville.
The bride and bridesmaids finished preparing in the bridal suite at The Market at Grelen.
Anyone who knows me, knows I love First Looks. So I was thrilled Jessy and Wes wanted to have a First Look. And thankfully, because of their First Look, we were able to take all wedding party and bride and groom pictures before the 5:30 p.m. ceremony. We were also so blessed to see the rain let up just as their First Look started. Their wedding was the weekend Hurricane Matthew rolled into the area, and it had been raining all day – up until the First Look 🙂
Because the rain stopped, we ditched the umbrellas and took advantage of the beautiful outdoor scenery at The Market at Grelen for bride and groom, and wedding party pictures.
The reds and pinks and florals in Jessy’s bridal party details were gorgeous!
And I loved that the guys wore deep blue suits.
They whole group looked so good together!
The ceremony was held under the tent on the patio outside the market. The couple infused Jewish and Christian cultures into their ceremony.
