Mother’s Day Photo Session Contest – Lynchburg, Va. Family Photographer

Well, I think I should win because I’m the first to comment!! Just Kidding. I will be celebrating my 2nd Mothers Day, this year. My first born, son, was born May 4th 2011, just days before Mother’s Day. I was blessed with the most perfect little gift ever. Last Mother’s Day I had to take Kaleb back to the hospital to check his Bilirubin levels, as he was born with just a tad bit of jaundice. While waiting at the hospital, I was changing his diaper and he PEED on me. So I got peed on for the first time, on Mother’s Day. He has grown into such a mommy’s boy, and I love him with all of my heart. I would love to have some pictures of him and I together. <3 And, I also shared this contest on my facebook page

I would love to be considered for this prize. At 35 I got remarried after spending 13yrs alone…raising my first son. Both being from a big family we wanted kids together, but after 6yrs of trying we were told its not likely going to happen. But at 41 we got a little surprise with a pink x on the stick… I had to call my eldest son in Iraq and say “you know how you’ve been an only child forever, welllll guess what?”.
And we have never looked back… Ayden James is now 3 1/5 and the love of our lives.. what a blessing even now almost 45 I can’t believe how lucky I am to have this little shinning star in my life. His brother adores him though 21 yrs his senior and Daddy and I though OLD LOL, Adore him too.

I’m actually entering for my daughter. This will be her very first Mother’s Day as we welcomed Christopher James into the world 8 months ago. Arianna’s husband arrived back in the states just 5 days before he was born. He had been deployed and it was a miracle that he got back in time!! We are thankful for the time they have had the past months together and they are blessed beyond measure to have CJ in their lives. 3 weeks ago he was deployed again and will definitely miss both her first Mother’s Day and probably his first Father’s Day. With him not here you can only imagine the changes that take place daily that he misses out on. I know that a photoshoot of the baby and Arianna would go so far in helping us document what is happening here and him having those pictures to look at would be worth more than words can say! I would love to win a photography session with my daughter! My husband & I are both from big families (I’m the 7th of 8 & he’s the 1st of 6) & have always wanted to have a big family of our own. In August 2007 we started trying to have a family & by the next year when nothing happened, we had fertility testing done & were told we had less than a 2% chance of getting pregnant (even with fertility medication)! We were devastated! We decided to give the meds a chance & prayed A LOT! Right before we were getting scheduled to have an Interuterine Insemination, we found out we were pregnant! In September 2009, Kylie Isabella was born. It was the most amazing experience! The overflow of love was like I’d never felt before! She’s our little miracle! She is such a joy in our lives! We tried for #2 and nothing happened in a year of trying (with fertility meds), so we may not be able to have any more children. We don’t know God’s plans, but we DO know that He has blessed us with the most amazing little girl ever! Please pick me! =) (I shared your link on FB.)

I think I should win, because I would be winning this for my mother. She is one of the most important people in my life. My mom and dad paid for my wedding this month, supplied everything and I would really like to make it up to her! I don’t know any other way than to give her an amazing mothers day. My mom is my best friend and I the reason I graduated high school and the reason I am incollege, please let us win becuase this would be amazing to give to her!! I shared on facebook! Thank you

I would love to win this contest for my family. I have been married to the love of my life and the father of our children for 25 years. His mother and father passed away before we had children. My mother passed away 13 years ago. My father chose to not be involved in my our my siblings families and we hardly ever took family portraits. Our daughters (ages 21 and 18) have never known what it is like to grow up with loving grandparents. This year (in August) our oldest will be a senior in college and our youngest will start her 1st year of college. It is so hard to get the family together for pictures. Having a photo session would mean so much to each one of us and especially to me for Mother’s Day.
