For the past three years, Carissa has wished that she had more pictures of herself in her wedding dress. When she got married three years ago, time was short for portraits, and she wasn’t able to have bridal session before that. She contacted me a couple of months ago to see if I would take her bridal portraits, three years after her wedding day. I was happy to oblige! I believe that bridal portraits are so important to have. You want to remember how you looked on one of the best day’s of your life. How often is it that we get to have our hair and makeup professionally done, and done one of the most beautiful dresses on the planet? We are looking our best, and there is just something about a wedding dress that makes a woman feel amazing. We met in my downtown studio this week to capture these images for Carissa. She had her hair and makeup professionally done by Sage Tryall Salon, and Arthur’s Flower Cart pulled together a beautiful bouquet for her that mimicked her actual wedding bouquet! We also ventured up the street to the Old City Cemetery for a few outdoor shots as well. Here is a peek at a few of my favorite images from the bridal session.
